By using a smart device or personal computer (with speaker, microphone, and camera capabilities), one can receive audio-visual telemedicine appointments at Brain and Behavior, PLLC. Our electronic health record system, Charm TeleHealth services, directly integrates the Zoom video platform into your appointment allowing a seamless telemedicine experience .

Due to privacy concerns and/or restrictions related to use of work spaces and work technology, individuals are encouraged to find a private space and use their personal computer, smart phone, or tablet where a strong private internet connection (e.g. wired or wireless) is available for telemedicine encounters.

For every TeleHealth appointment booked, individuals receive an automated email with instructions for joining the TeleHealth session.

Individuals with Charm Portal accounts can join from their registered account. Individuals without a Charm Portal account can use the direct Join URL sent as part of the email.

During the first video session, individuals will be asked to install a Zoom desktop plug-in, while connecting from a computer. If individuals join the video session from mobile phones or tablets, they have to install the Zoom iOS or Android App.

Individuals are allowed to check-in for TeleHealth consults 30 minutes prior to the appointment time. Here is the procedure to join the video session from PHR:

1) Log in to the Charm Portal

2) Go to the 'Appointments' section

3) Click on the 'Check-in' button shown next to the appointment

4) Select the state of residence and click on the 'Join' button. Then wait for the provider to join the meeting
